The International Poultry Farming Seminar was held in Georgia, organized by Nutrimax and Trouw Nutrition.

On May 20-21, an international poultry seminar was held in Tbilisi, organized by „Nutrimax“ and an international Dutch company “Trouw Nutrition”. The seminar aimed to promote sustainable development of the poultry industry.

The main goal of the seminar was to share modern international experience and knowledge with farmers, which is critically important for the efficiency of production and the long-term development of the sector, both in Georgia and at the regional level. More than 60 participants from about ten countries in Central Asia and Caucasus region joined the seminar.

The event was officially opened by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia, Meline Arakelian, With Nutrimax Managing Partner Beka Bekaia. Their greetings emphasized the importance of Dutch-Georgian cooperation in the field of knowledge exchange in the agricultural sector.

It is noteworthy that an international sectoral seminar of such scale and importance was held in Georgia for the first time and represents an important milestone on the path of integration of the Georgian agricultural sector with the European experience. The event highlighted the importance of international cooperation in agricultural development.

Leading experts from Trouw Nutrition shared important knowledge with seminar participants in the following areas:

· Improving poultry productivity

· Strategies for reducing antibiotics in poultry farming

· Water hygiene standards and microbiological risk management

· The impact of heat stress and climate conditions on poultry health

· Mycotoxin Prevention and Regional Challenge Analysis

· Innovative food technologies and their practical implementation
